Family-run for over eighty years, Nant-y-big Park is a friendly camping and caravanning site ideally set on the sandy Porth Ceiriad beach near the picturesque village of Abersoch, on Lleyn Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site offers guests an option of three camping areas. Set up camp in a large camping field with electric hookup conveniences in proximity to the site facilities and a fifteen-minute walk to the beach nearby. The second camping area rests right above Porth Ceiriad beach and is a vast, low-density camping field offering spectacular views out to Cardigan Bay, Snowdonia, and the lovely beach. Depending on the chosen pitch, two camping areas require a walk of fifty to two hundred and fifty meters to gain access to the basic facilities offered. Site amenities include a toilet block, showers, a washing up area, a freezer, and an on-site restaurant and café for days when you’d rather let someone else do the cooking. There are provisions for chemical disposal and recycling. Visit during the out of peak season to observe a wealth of wildlife and birdlife. The serene settings, paired with quiet beauty, bring forth a range of outdoor activities to please nature enthusiasts of all ages and interests. Venture out for some seaside fishing, lose yourself amid lovely flora and fauna or just kick back at the site and enjoy a relaxing camping adventure.
