These terms and conditions apply every time you access or use www.camperbug.co.uk (the “Website”) so please read them carefully.

By accessing, registering or using our Website, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We may vary these terms and conditions at any time and such modifications will become effective immediately upon posting of the modified terms on the Website. By continuing to use the Website following any such variation, you will be deemed to have accepted such variation.

In these terms and conditions, any reference to "we" "us", "our" or "Camperbug" refers to Camperbug Ltd. (registered company number 07285465) and any reference to "you" or "your" refers to you, the user of the Website (including any person who we reasonably believe is acting with your authority or knowledge).

The term "landowner or campervan owner” refers to the owner or operator of campsites, campervans, motorhomes, camping vehicles, holiday parks, lodges, bungalows, static caravans, and other accommodation types advertised on this website. The term "campervan or campsite" refers to the campervan, motorhome, camping vehicle, campsite, holiday park, lodge, bungalow, static caravan, pre-pitched tent, or any other accommodation option featured on this website. The term "pitch" in relation to campsites, refers to the specific accommodation subdivision within an accommodation type related to a campsite.

Our Role

Camperbug is booking engine and intermediary for campervan owners and campsite landowners and acts as agent only in respect of all bookings made through the Website. All information on the Website relating to a campervan including, without limitation, prices, availability, location, has been submitted by the campervan or campsite owner. Such campervan owners and campsite landowners are independent businesses and are not employees or agents of Camperbug.

Inclusion of a Campervan or campsite on the Website does not constitute a recommendation of it by Camperbug. You accept that we have not undertaken any quality or other checks of the campervans or campsites included on the Website.

We ask campervans and campsites to submit accurate information to the Website however we do not warrant that the information is accurate and/or error free. When you use the Website you acknowledge that the information may be inaccurate.

Please note that all information regarding campsites and campervans displayed on the Website, including details regarding the landowner or van owner, availability of campervans or pitches, pricing, facilities provided by the landowner or van owner, and any accreditations or other services advertised on the Website have been provided by independent accommodation and/or service providers who are not agents or employees of Camperbug.co.uk. Such information is not intended to constitute advice or recommendations by Camperbug.co.uk and Camperbug.co.uk shall not be held liable for any inaccuracies or errors in the accommodation content or its components. We strongly advise that you confirm all details with the campsite and campervan owner prior to making a booking.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your access to/use of information provided by third parties, including without limitation campervan or campsite accommodation providers. You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy or completeness of any information accessed via the Website.

When you make a booking, your contract for a campervan or campsite and other facilities/services will be with the relevant Campervan owner or Campsite provider. We are not a party to that contract and have no liability whatsoever to you in respect of it, including if the facilities provided do not meet your needs or for the acts or omissions of any campervan or campsite provider, other service provider and/or third party.

The campervan or campsite provider’s terms and conditions will apply to your booking – these may exclude or limit the campervan or campsite provider’s liability to you so it is important that you read them carefully.

Please be advised that Camperbug.co.uk acts solely as a booking agent for all campervan and campsite bookings made through their website. By proceeding to book, you acknowledge and agree that you will be entering into a legally binding contract with the landowner or van owner, subject to their standard terms and conditions. We may, at our discretion, make available copies of such terms and conditions to you, but we shall have no liability for any failure to do so. It is your responsibility to ask for and carefully review and understand the terms and conditions before proceeding with your booking. Please note that any disputes or issues arising from your contract with the landowner or campervan owner must be addressed directly with them.

Please be advised that our website serves as a platform to connect you with campervan or campsite providers. We do not offer package deals and your accommodation arrangements do not fall under the definition of a package, as per the legislation contained within the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tour Regulations 1992. Our role is limited to facilitating the booking process and we cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise during your stay at the selected campervan or campsite. Please ensure that you carefully read and understand the terms and conditions of the campervan or campsite provider before making a booking.

Liability

In the event that Camperbug has any liability to you in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise in relation to your use of the Website or otherwise, it is limited. to the amount of the deposit paid to us only.

We exclude all liability of any kind in respect of any failure to do what we have promised because of something beyond our reasonable control such as technical failure, lightning, flood, exceptionally severe weather, fire or explosion, civil disorder, war, military operations, industrial disputes of any kind (including those involving our employees), natural or local emergency, anything done by government or other competent authority.

We do not accept liability either in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for direct or indirect loss of profits, income, business or anticipated savings, nor for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, loss or destruction of data, or other information.

Please be aware that if you, or any individual on whose behalf you are booking, are found to be in breach of any of the provisions set out in these Terms, or if you contravene any laws or third-party rights, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without providing any refund or compensation, and to recover any costs that we may incur as a result of your behaviour.

Each provision of these terms and conditions excluding or limiting liability operates separately. If any part is held by a court to be unreasonable or inapplicable, the other parts shall continue to apply.

Charges and Payment

When you make a booking through the Website you agree to pay a booking fee to us. Save as expressly stated in these terms and conditions, this booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The deposit and balance of the cost of the [campervan or campsite and any other facilities/services] together with any applicable taxes will be payable in full direct to the campervan owner or campsite before the commencement of your hire.

Making and changing a booking

Where the accommodation is showing availability and you make a booking and pay a deposit, Camperbug will send you a confirmation email setting out the details of your booking. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of paying the deposit, please contact Camperbug.

If the Campervan owner or campsite landowner/provider subsequently informs Camperbug that there has been an error and, in fact, the campervan or campsite, facility or service is not available, the campsite or campervan owner will contact you and refund the deposit paid.

After the booking fee has been paid, the campervan owner or campsite landowner/provider’s cancellation policy will apply. Please remember that the deposit paid to us is non-refundable and non-transferable save as stated above or as we may determine from time to time in our sole discretion.

Any changes to a booking will be subject to a £10 admin fee.

Cancellations - you will be refunded the following % of your total payment:

70% - over 120 days before the hire begins opens

50% - between 120 and 61 days before the hire begins

0% - under 61 days before the hire begins.

Use of your information

Please look at our Privacy Policy (www.camperbug.co.uk/privacy), which sets out how we may use information provided by or collected from you when accessing or using the Website to ensure you understand our practices.

Your responsibilities:

Passports/visas – you are responsible for ensuring you hold all appropriate passports and visas. We recommend that you check the latest advice on your destination country on the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office website before you travel (www.fco.gov.uk/en/travel-and-living-abroad/travel-advice-by-country)

Insurance and health – we recommend that you have appropriate and adequate travel insurance and health documentation in place at the time of booking and take the necessary documentation with you.

Special requests – please notify the Campervan Hire Company direct of any special requirements. We cannot guarantee that such requests can be met and have no liability to you in respect of them.

Appropriate behaviour – you are solely responsible for any loss or damage caused by you or a member of your party to the campervan. In the event that Campervan Hire Company or other supplier brings any claim against us or otherwise seeks to recover any loss or damage resulting from your actions from us, you will be responsible for meeting such claims.

If you or any member(s) of your party are in breach of any of these terms and conditions, infringe the rights of any third parties or contravene any applicable law or regulation we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund or compensation. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense resulting from your incorrect, incomplete or missing documentation or not compliance with official requirements.

Please contact the Campervan Hire Company if you have any complaints regarding the accommodation or facilities/services booked through the Website.

General

If we delay in acting upon a breach of these terms and conditions by you, that delay will not be regarded as a waiver of the breach. If we do waive a breach of these terms and conditions by you, that waiver is limited to the particular breach.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be illegal or unenforceable the remainder of these terms and conditions will not be affected and the provision in question will be deemed modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.

The contract created by your acceptance of these terms and conditions is governed by English law and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
