How to Book a Campsite

Booking your site is straightforward. Follow these steps, and you’re on your way.

How to Book a Campsite

Head over to the Campsite Page
Click on the Campsite tab at the top of the Camperbug home page.

Find a Camping Space by County or Name
Add your destination by county (e.g. Kent) or campsite name (e.g. Kentra Bay Campsites) under the Search for a Campsite option.

Campers are also welcome to click the blue Find a Campsite Near Me button to explore camping options close to home.

Include your Dates
Find your campsite of choice, and add your travel dates by pressing the Click to Add Dates option in the blue box on the top right-hand side of the page.

Explore Pitch Types and Prices
Once you include your dates, the website will take you to a new page detailing the pitches available for your intended hire period.

Click on the pitch of choice displayed under Select a pitch below in order to find availability and book, e.g. grass-only plots, hardstanding with an electric connection, or glamping abode.

The site will then display all the essential information about the selected base.

Information provided about the Campsite

Details viewable include:
• Arrival and departure dates
• Number of adults and children
• The charge for your selected hire dates
• The required deposit fee to secure your dates
• Balance payable to the Campsite
• Security Deposit to be paid on arrival
• The time period available for a balance refund

Press the More Pitch Info tab (right under Security Deposit) to view details such as:

• Accommodation Notes – Campsite regulations on car parking, maximum persons per pitch etc.
• Extras that you are coming with – charges for pets, awnings, gazebos, etc.
• Permitted Vehicles – the type of touring vehicles allowed in the campsite
• Restrictions - Conditions for booking your pitch
• Extras that the Campsite Provides – Added amenities provided by the site
• Features Included in the Accommodation - amenities provided at the campgrounds

The above details are provided on each pitch option, making it easy to compare prices and facilities when booking.
A calendar under each pitch option makes it easy to amend dates if desired.

Adding Dates, Guests, and Pitch Preference

Move to the Choose Accommodation and Dates option on the top left-hand side of the page to amend your booking details.

Calendar
Update your reservation dates as desired or compare prices

Number of Guests
Scroll to include the number of adults and children included in your booking.

Pitch
Use the tickbox to customize pitch preference, e.g. tent, campervan, motorhome, or glamping abodes like lodges and yurts.
