Set up your pitch for the stay and make a beeline for the cosy on-site pub where you can unwind with a glass of wine or a frothy pint. If you’d prefer to save the relaxing for the end of the day, take a half an hour’s drive into the Tewkesbury, and spend the day exploring the sights and sounds of the lovely market town. Ramble along the River Servern, and enjoy a picnic on the grassy banks when you feel the need to refuel. Next up, hop on a boat and enjoy a lazy trip along the Avon, before zipping over to the majestic nine-hundred-year-old Tewkesbury Abbey. History buffs can make a detour to the cities of Gloucester, and Worcester to enjoy walking trails and tours through the many cathedrals plus the stunning Hartlebury Castle. The outdoorsy types can rush over to the stunning Malvern Hills with walking shoes firmly laced on or bikes in tow for ours of splendid walks and cycling paths. Wildlife enthusiast will have hours of entertainment observing the birdlife and animals in the protected Severn Ham. Head back to your home away from home with a quick stop at the on-site butchers shop for meats and sausages to slap on the grill. If you’re too tired for cooking, flop down in the cosy pub and tuck into excellent locally sourced food, while you keep an eye on the pub’s monthly quiz, or wind down to live music on a Friday night.
