The Waterford Lodge is a quiet, friendly campsite set in an idyllic rural location just twenty minutes from the buzzing city of Worcester. This adults-only site is perfect for unwinding in the verdant countryside and is the ideal base for scenic walks, and lovely strolls to the nearest pub which serves homemade food and gets cheery thumbs up from the site owners. Wake up to the sounds of wildlife and soak in the views from the spacious pitch, which is not preassigned but rather left up to the guest’s preference. Families can set up camp near the horses and let the tots gawp at these majestic beasts and even help the owners at feeding time. All the plots have links to a water tap. There is a toilet block with a washbasin and outdoor sink: however, there are no shower facilities on-site. This is the ideal spot to enjoy a nature escape so lace-up your walking shoes and set out to explore the stunning scenery along meandering walking paths. If you’d prefer to pedal your way around, go right ahead and discover lovely paths cutting across the gorgeous, lush landscape. There’s heaps of opportunity for watersports like kayaking and canoeing as well as beautiful spots for fishing enthusiasts to cast a line over gleaming waters and sit back in anticipation of a sizeable catch. Head back to base to slap your game on the grill and savour an alfresco meal under the twinkling stars.
