Lace-up your walking shoes and take on waterside explorations ranging from serene walks and lovely picnic spots to fishing and birdwatching. Spread out a blanket on the banks, and observe birdlife like waddling ducks, graceful herons and brilliant flashes of blue as kingfishers swoop in from the trees above. The park is just fifteen-minutes from the Grafton Farm Equestrian Centre for horse riding and other equestrian pursuits. Enjoy some breathing space and a network of wooded walking and cycling trails in Mortimer Forest, or head over to Wheely Wonderful Cycling twenty-minutes away for bike tours within the stunning borderlands of England and Wales. The kids can make friends and frolic in the kid's play area as parents sit outside in the sunshine with a cuppa.
