We had a lovely weekend away in DevonDorset and we were extremely lucky with the fantastic weather after the rainy May weve had Just a few comments on the vanVWKampers though.. Lisa and John were very helpful in talking us through the van before we left, though we could see that it was a little tired perhaps to be expected from a van that is 9 years old and a rental. Apparently its due a revamp later this year The pop-top had a bit of a musty, moudly smell.. and not everything was as clean as we would have expected when paying so much money When we arrived at the campsite we discovered that the pump for the awning was missing.. and after several attempts we managed to get through to John they only have a landline number to be contacted on.. a mobile is really needed for emergencies. Thankfully we were only a short drive away so he was able to bring it out to us. When we returned the van we were about 45 mins early, again I tried to call them but couldnt get an answer so we had to sit and wait till they came home. Not sure what would have happened in an emergency and e.g. we had to return it a lot earlier if we couldnt contact them. Apart from those issues however we did have a fab weekend -

We have rented Bella for a short trip to Dorset and it was great having her for a couple of days. The process was smooth and Simon was really helpful with all the details we needed to make this an awesome trip. Would recommend Bella to anyone looking to go on a journey with this beautiful camper van.

We had the best time in Wales with Vinny. Emily and Ash were really helpful in showing us how to operate and use everything to do with the van and made us feel super at ease. Unfortunately the weather was pretty wet while we were away but having the cover of the van made things super comfortable. If you havent tried this thing before the van has more than everything you need to make your trip as smooth as possible. cant wait to get back out again, we loved our trip.

Maybelle is easy to drive although sometimes picking reverse wasnt always first time. However, I found by double de clutching she went into reverse no problem. Great Motorhome to drive, comfortable, and comes complete with all the equipment you need.The owner Nick is really easy to get on with and took time out to explain the workings of the Motorhome before my departure. I found him flexible in all ways and will be hiring again sometime in the near future.

Thanks to Anil, his brother and their lovely and very practical car we have had a great holiday trip along Turkish southern coast - the whole family This Ford is perfectly done in a very tastful manner, all handy, including 80l shower, very fine cooker etc. - we simply fell in love with this car and regarded it for 8 days as our sweet home. It is also well adapted for difficult dusty roads - just a perfect car for free holiday travellers. The two brothers that own the car prepared us as a welcome present some turkish sweets and a few bottles of beer for the evening fires - that shows clearly their respectful attitude to the guests... If we come to Turkey again, we will definitely rent this car again - Jan

Great week away in Vinny Ash and Emily were super helpful in showing us how to set up as it was a complete new experience for us Great communication throughout booking trip.Van is completed to a great standard has everything we needed We will definitely be looking to use Vinny again, whilst we work on our own

What can I say...the whole experience was amazingFrom the booking experience with Paul, to the actual trip with Bluebell, every second was incredible. We had to move our initial booking due to the lockdown in the UK and Paul was more than accomodating as we tried to find a new date.The van itself is beautiful, and got so many compliments as we were driving round Its also a fab size as you can park in any carpark with ease.We stayed in campsites at Glastonbury, Priddy and the Quantocks over a Bank Holiday weekend and the features in the van made it a comfortable stay. There are plug sockets which work when on an electric hookup, a heater connected to the petrol pump and a fridgefreezer and lights connected to the leisure battery. Theres also a gas hob and grill, and water tank for fresh running water for the sink. If youre considering hiring this van, just do it You wont regret it

We had a lovely 3 day trip to see my parents for the first time in 9 months. Very comfortable and loads of space for the 3 of us to sleep on the driveway.Booking was easy and Jo was v helpful and accommodating.

I had a WONDERFUL trip in Debs. Im a designer and I had a long trip to make and a week on site working and sleeping in the van. Debs is super comfortable and there was enough space for me to work and live really comfortably for the whole week. It was freezing cold outside -4 one night but I was always cosy. The auxiliary heater works really efficiently and the kettle boils fast I loved that the van was so easy and smooth to drive, that all the storage was so well thought out, as many others have said, and although I think vintage VWs are so cute it was great to be in such a new modern functional vehicle when I had work on my mind not just fun. Hand over and drop off couldnt have been simpler, whole team really friendly and easy.

NB THIS REVIEW IS FROM A YEAR AGO AND REPAIRS MAY HAVE SINCE BEEN MADE. wouldnt post before Owner gave us a good deal on this one as well as lent us some guide books and a camping chair at no extra cost. However the condition was poor, with brakes frequently smelling burnt on the motorway,1 wing mirror stuck on with gaffa tape and so unadjustable, and more unnerving, the electric charging cable started smoking when plugged in overnight at a campsite. We will be more rigorous with quality as well as price next time, and would not recommend this as suitable for hire without repairs.

Cant recommend enough We spent a week a Cornwall with Orlando, had a great time. It was everything we expected and more. Easy to set up and included a heap of comfy extras that make the whole trip smoother. Tom helped us out a lot with recommendations and was prompt responding to any questions we needed help with. If we decide to do another road trip this summer, wed hire Orlando again
